Taking a closer look at branding in healthcare - one of the trickiest spaces to design for.
Healthcare branding has a single job: earn trust without sacrificing humanity
Healthcare is easily one of the most demanding spaces to design for. You’re talking to people making high-stakes decisions under real emotional pressure. Lean too far into clinical design and you feel cold and detached. Lean too far into the expressive, and risk undermining any foundational trust. Finding that sweet spot between human empathy and scientific authority is where the a team like ours comes in.
That intersection is where a team like ours comes in.
We've spent a decade or so uplifting healthcare brands that need to bring both the rigorous and precise and the warm and human - all at once. Ranging from mental health innovators to clinical research experts and companion care services, the task was always the same: how do you build a brand that earns trust from clinicians, investors and patients simultaneously?
We rooted our answer in the same question: what do people actually need to feel and what do they need to believe?
OM1
OM1 - an innovative healthcare company driving medical outcomes through a widely expansive AI foundation model - wanted an identity anchored in the core of its name: Outcomes, Measurement, One. The renewed identity framework strips away the tech noise and focuses entirely on the metrics of medicine, transforming the complex architecture of digital patient phenotyping into a clear, inevitable source of clinical prediction.

Highlander Health
For Highlander Health, co-founded by two of the most recognised figures in clinical research, the identity system needed to be a motion-led and communicate the idea of constant evolution. With their mission of optimising current delivery methodologies through learning labs, strategic investments and philanthropic efforts, their renewed brand identity helps position them as a leading force in advancing medical innovation.

Twin Health
For Twin Health - a startup reversing chronic metabolic disease through a digital twin of the human body - the new system meant balancing absolute precision with the warmth of human care. From the digital interface to physical packaging, every touchpoint was engineered to externalise a profound medical truth that isolating and understanding data at individual level is the shortest path to easing a chronic illness.

Pedestal
For Pedestal Health - a company challenging the established protocols of Real World Data - it means designing for a world where the questions never stop. We’re building a system that shifts the industry away from fragmented, temporary data concepts and toward a longitudinal, compounding visual framework built for the infinite horizon of clinical research. It’s an ongoing collaboration, with a brand new website and logo currently in the works.

Pedestal Brand Identity
"The brands that work never choose between precision and warmth or rigour and approachability. They hold both sides. And so they don't resolve that tension — they inhabit it."
