A Different Kind Of Partnership.

With experience across startups, global clients and corporates, we’ve seen how traditional structures can slow down great ideas. So we came together to build a different kind of agency — an agency that acts almost like an in-house team — but with the perspective and punch of a creative studio.

How We Work

While every project is different, we approach each the same. Working with you side-by-side, we’re an agile collective of experienced designers, writers, and developers who understand that every brand has its own story to tell. Our process is transparent, strategic and built around a real partnership - from concept to launch, we create imaginative and exciting solutions with our focus, energy and expertise.

Listen

We’re collaborative and comprehensive. Before any lines are drawn or code written, we get to know you and your business - and the milestones to hit.

Cultivate

It’s all in the details. Our people take pride in producing quality work, from thoughtful design to powerful code, we build with care and flare.

Guide

Driven by empathy and behavioural insight, we direct experiences that feel natural, engaging and genuinely useful. Made for people, by people.

Partner

We think the best work happens together. We’ve shaped our studio to be lean, agile and immersive - a team that feels like an extension of yours.

Who We Are

James

With 20 years spent navigating the intersection of design, business, and tech, James founded se.studio to get back to what matters: actually fixing brand challenges. Having bridged the gap between creative and commercial strategy at giants like Nokia and Microsoft, he now applies that "dual-lens" perspective to a smaller, more agile stage. For James, the studio is a place where cross-disciplinary experience meets genuine collaboration to turn complex problems into human-centric solutions.

Our Studios

Born from friendship and cross-continental experience between London and San Francisco, we combine the feel of an in-house team with creative studio punch.
